After a long day, I gave Fantasy Forest 2 a shot. It’s the kind of game that sucks you in with bright graphics but then gets tricky fast. Sometimes the mechanics feel wonky, and I kept getting annoyed at how I couldn’t figure out the puzzles. Still, it’s pretty addictive for some reason.
The gameplay is neat but full of tricky bits. Moving around feels wonky sometimes because of the physics, which can throw you off. The controls are simple but the puzzles can be confusing. It’s a decent intro for new players, even if some parts make you want to throw the controller.
You don’t need to be a pro to enjoy this, but certain loadouts make it easier. Some weapons and magic combinations are clearly better for tougher spots. Honestly, experimenting with different setups is part of the fun, even if it takes a while to figure out what works best.
If you want to level quickly, focus on completing side quests early. I found a secret shortcut that cuts through part of the map, saving time. Also, upgrading your gear as soon as possible really boosts your progress. Don’t forget to save often, lest you lose a lot of effort.
The story is pretty straightforward but takes some twists. I won’t spoil it, but the ending feels a little rushed. Following the main storyline gets you through most of the game, but exploring side areas reveals extra secrets. It’s a decent way to pass the time, even if it drags a bit towards the end.
