Use the on-screen placement controls to put coins into slots. The game's listed aids include Hammer, Free Move, Shuffle and Time Slot. These change how you can deal with an awkward board, but they work best when you know which blocked match or occupied slot you are trying to fix.

Before placing a coin, check whether it brings matching pieces together or separates them behind an avoidable obstruction. Keep an eye on the clock while inspecting the whole layout; staring at a single promising group can make you miss an easier clearance elsewhere.
