An annoying thing is how often the game resets your progress when you accidentally close it. A hidden trick is to always keep an eye on the boost bar during races.
The game doesn’t really have a story, just a continuous string of races and merges. The ending is as dull as the start, with no real conclusion. You just keep merging and racing until you get bored. Completing every race unlocks some cosmetic upgrades, but it’s mostly just rinse and repeat. There is no grand finale, just endless gameplay.
